Villagers announce partnership with YouthKicks Coaching

Following on from the exciting news we broke in regard to next season seeing Barnton FC with a wide junior set up, we’re pleased to announce that local & established organisation YouthKicks Coaching, will also be linking up with the club.

YouthKicks currently have two junior teams at Under 7’s & Under 8’s for the 2017/18 season, the two sides will complete our junior set up for next season giving us a team for every age group.

In another exciting twist the Club also announced that YouthKicks will also be hosting the ‘Barnton Football Academy’ to be known as the (BFA) for children Ages 3-6 every Saturday morning, this will be used to introduce children into the game & prepare them ready for the age group teams that will run through the Club structure & provide future players for Barnton FC at all levels.

Alongside this, YouthKicks will be taking a hands on approach by taking the junior teams sessions through out the season working side by side with all coaches across all age groups, in turn providing the highest level of coaching for all the children involved at all levels at the club.

YouthKicks Head Coach & Barnton FC player Jordan Stafford, “As a player for Barnton FC it’s amazing to see what’s happening at the club and the opportunity that is now being provided to the local children. All of us at YouthKicks are delighted to be apart of it and can’t wait to help develop the future players and be apart of their footballing journey.”

Jordan’s words were echoed by 1st Team Manager Steve Lloyd who said “This move sees us add the final piece to the youth system for next season, we now have a seamless flow from children learning to simply kick a ball right the way through to the final step into 1st team football, bringing Jordan & YouthKicks on board is excellent news for our aims, they do a terrific job locally & will really help drive the vision here”

The Club will hold a series of meetings between now & the end of April to ensure that the structure is soundly in place to launch for the summer.
